What size is a CRANKA Crab
The CRANKA Crab is currently available in 3 different body sizes.
These sizes are:
50mm Crab Model - Available in both Treble Hook and Single Hook Configurations. The 50mm CRANKA Crab is measured across the legs (50mm leg width), and it has a shell width of 18mm making it the smallest offering in the CRANKA Crab line up.
The 50mm Treble Hook Model Crab also comes in 2 different weight offerings – a Light 3.9 gram model and a Heavy 5.9 gram model.
The Light crab is ideal for spooky fish where a softer landing is required, shallow water, slow current and for a slower sink rate on suspended fish which keeps the bait in the strike zone longer.
The Heavy 5.9 gram model is ideally suited to deeper water and faster current situations. It is also ideal for fishing shallow flats where longer casts are required.
The 50mm Single Hook Model Crab is currently only available in 1 weight - 4.4 grams.
65mm Crab Model - Available currently in a Treble Hook Model only. The 65mm CRANKA Crab is measured across the legs (65mm leg width), and it has a shell width of 24mm.
The 65mm Treble Hook Model Crab is available in 1 weight – 9.5 grams.
85mm Crab Model - available currently in a Single hook Configuration only. The 85mm CRANKA Crab is again measured across the legs (85mm leg width) and has a shell width of 30mm making it currently the largest offering in the CRANKA Crab line up.
The 85mm Single Hook Model Crab is available in 1 weight – 21 grams.
